2004: Furnace Monsters and graffiti tile

This tile is one of a series of tiles I created that playfully document lost spaces around Providence. These furnace monsters were located in East Providence at Ocean State Steel, which has since been torn down. The furnaces in the abandoned mill were about 25 feet tall and about 15 feet wide.
The building image has an anti-bush tile. I put up 25 tiles before the RNC in NYC in 2004. I know that this tile and one other are still up.
