Project IMA 2010

The Willie Nelson dress depicts Willie standing in the Gulf of Mexico holding his braids. I was inspired when Willie Nelson cut his braids off to inspire human hair collection to help with the oil spill. To me, cutting his iconic hair symbolizes how easy change can occur. The back of the dress depicts a wind turbine. The Cock-a-tail dress I made mainly from t-shirts that I cut, knit, and sewed.
